If you have a friend from "out of town" who'd like to play, let me know
well in advance so I can add them to our Friends list.
If you're curious, I try to track how many visiting players we have. I
track on a monthly basis -- ACBL is tracking on a weekly basis -- but my
count is pretty flat throughout the month.
I'm currently running about 6.5% visitors. The official limit is 15%. So
it's okay. :)
We do have a handful of players from out of the area who have become
"virtual" locals. They enjoy playing in our games, and meeting and
playing with familiar players from the local clubs. I think that's
delightful. :)

Wednesdays are busy at PPDVBC:

* 7:30 Open Pairs
Plus we have the Newcomer game with Zoom postmortem at 7:15. This game
adds value to the 7:30 Open Pairs, so it's really worthwhile.
Let me know if you're looking for a partner, or have a friend from "out

There's also a group of us who have been getting together on Wednesday
afternoons at 2:30 p.m. to play on RealBridge. It's a fairly experienced
field. We love team matches, so we play a round robin team game if we
have an even number, or an IMP pairs match if we don't. There are no
masterpoints and no director, but we play on RealBridge, so we see and
hear each other as we play.
If this appeals, drop me a note and I'll see how the turnout looks.
I'll send a note to the Newcomers about their game and Zoom after party
tomorrow Wednesday morning.
