“Although all of us are pretty much up to speed on overcalls, we flounder around a bit when responding to partner’s overcall, particularly when we have some points.  This is especially true when partner uses Michaels or the Unusual NT (how do we invite game vs. just making competitive or preemptive bids?)  In this lesson I will introduce several methods for inviting game in particular, and how to get to the right game if that’s where the partnership belongs.  If you are interested try to get your partner(s) interested as well, as nearly everything presented depends on partnership agreements and it would be useful to practice bidding hands with your partner.  While I wouldn’t expect you to adopt everything presented, you should find at least a few of the ideas worth considering.”
