So much Wednesday bridge. Here it is December, can't go out, might
as well stay in. What better than to meet our partner at a bridge
table and play cards?
November was our biggest month in table count, 219 tables. Our
previous highest was 198 tables in August. With the rest of our
costs fairly fixed, our member clubs will pick up a little extra
this month. Thank you for that!
Here are the offerings for Wednesday, Dec. 2:
- 10:45 a.m. 499er Pairs (0-500)
- 7:15 p.m. Newcomer Pairs
- 7:30 p.m. Open Pairs
I have a handful of players signed up for each of the games. Please
let me know if you'd like to play, or would play if you
could find a partner.
After the newcomer game, I'll open our weekly Zoom after party
and we can laugh/cry about the hands. The Wednesday evening game
will use the same hands between the newcomers and the Open Pairs.
It makes a great way to compare results. (Not The Common Game
hands, but shuffled by Big Deal.)

(If it's clear outside in the early evening, check out Jupiter and
Saturn getting closer and closer together over the next few days,
look southwest about an hour after sunset.)
