That was a whirlwind of a week! So many games, so many silver
points.
Sunday afternoon Open Pairs (Howell Movement):
Flight A: Arthur and Dominique Moore (71%!)
Flights B and C: Karmen Armoudjian and Lisa Walker
Tomorrow: Open Pairs, 11:00 a.m., 0-1000 pairs 7:15 p.m.
Who would like to have a wine and cheese Zoom postmortem after the
Monday game? BYO wine and cheese, of course. :)
We held 11 games this week, with an average of 7.3 tables per game,
81 tables total. Thursday evening was the smallest game with 4
tables. (That Thursday evening game will be impacted by the District
23 limited game going on at the same time.)
I'm going to keep all the games in the schedule I added for Silver
Linings week. We now have an Open Pairs game every day, and limited
pairs on Monday evening and Saturday morning. For the newer players,
the schedule is supplemented by the District 23 games on Wednesday
and Thursday evenings plus Sunday afternoon.
My first online bridge class went well this morning. I'm going to be
doing some practice sessions Tuesday and Wednesday evening for newer
players on bidding and play, from Audrey Grant's Bridge Basics 1.

If you need help with something BBO related, please include your
BBO ID and your partner's ID. It helps me quite a bit if I
don't have to look up screen names before troubleshooting a problem.
Now that Silver Linings week is over, the fun doesn't end! All ACBL
virtual club games pay 150% of the normal club rating for
open games. They're all black points, the same you would have won at
a brick-and-mortar club. It's literally like a Club Championship
every game.
